I have always had a passion for expressing my creativity through videos, which is why in 2019 I joined TikTok. Like most users, I spent a lot of time on the app and became very well acquainted with the habits, trends, and language of the community. I began experimenting with videos and through a series of trials and errors, I very quickly started to grow as a content creator. Today, I have over 105,000 followers.
Social media is how I express myself and build confidence. I've been making TikTok videos for five years now and it's exciting to see how I've grown, both as a person and as a social media expert.
This video is from 2020 and it's one of my favorite posts I've ever made. It was the second in a three-part series, each more intricate than the last. It stretched my creative skills and challenged me, from filming and editing to photography and photoshop. It's not my most popular video. In fact, it's not even the most popular in the series, but I am proud of it nonetheless.
I have earned several viral videos, including my "World Market Scavenger Hunt" series. Collectively, this series has amassed over 20 million views, 1.7 million likes, and 28,000 shares. Because of my success, I now work with World Market often to promote their business.
I have no goals for my personal account, which some might find amateur and foolish. Like most people who join social media, I signed up because I thought it would be fun–and it is! But only because I don't build any expectations for my channel. At its core, my channel is a hobby. If I post something, it's not because I think it'll do well, it's because I enjoyed making the content.
